Ehec Bacterie - Possible Infection

Dear Madam,

I would like to inform you that a possible infection of ehec bacteria can result from using petroselinum crispum (parsley) that is being used as ingredients of some salads.
I have seen on the spanish television a short report on the restaurant Kartoffelkeller where there kitchen work bench was shown to prepare food. On the left side of the bench stood a bowl with the famous sprouts AND a bowl of parsley.
As you know parsley is a herb that, in the early morning, is harvested by hand, bunched an put in crates. Sometimes it is irrigated by hand to keep it fresh.
Cow dung could have been used to manure the crop or the crates could have been put on infested soil, the parsley twigs taking up some bacteria.

Hope this is useful to you?
